Delah means delicate, and they stand up to it. Every dish and coffee is unique and delicately crafted. The best Arabic coffee I had in a while. Friendly staff, even gave a complimentary cheesecake since we did not get a table for 10 mins. The place gives off an authentic Turkish/Yemen vibe, with murals, quotes, furniture and so soon. Rose milk cake was my fav dessert there.

This coffee shop has truly become like a second home for me. The staff are more than just friendly—they’ve become like family, always welcoming me with warmth and kindness. I love that I can stop by anytime, even just for a quick walk over, and feel right at home. The pastries are consistently amazing, and the coffee is even better. For the longest time, the Yemen latte was my go-to, but lately I’ve been gravitating toward the caramel latte—and it’s just as incredible. Whether you’re looking for a cozy spot, delicious food, or the perfect coffee, this place never disappoints.

This cafe is so cute and perfect for a study session or even a first date. The rose cake was SO good, the chai was perfectly made, and the baklava was spot on. Also, the service was so warm and welcoming! Definitely coming back, love this place!!

This might just be my absolute favorite middle eastern bakery/ coffee shop. They are so friendly, nice, and welcoming; I didn’t want to leave the place!! Their honey bite is so darn good! I’m coming right back to buy another one!

Amazing Yemeni coffee house the pasteries were amazing the best baklava I’ve ever had! And they had many flavors of Turkish delight the rose was my favorite. I didn’t get a coffee but the refresher I got was super tasty but a little too sweet. My partner said her chai was very good too.

There is no doubt, it is the best coffee shop in all of Oakland, CA. The time I was there, I went almost daily for my coffee: Rose Delah Latte or Yamine Latte are my favorites and their desserts are delicious. The atmosphere is extremely pleasant, the decoration is beautiful and the music is always at an appropriate volume. They are friendly with pets, my kitten was always welcomed. And I want to highlight the most is that all the staff is very attentive and sweet, always with a smile and the best attitude. My gratitude and my love to them for being so good to me. If you are in Oakland, don't miss the opportunity to go to this sensational place. Thank you so much for everything.

I feel like this is a very authentic Ethiopian coffee shop. The coffee to the employees to the aesthetic, it all feels very on brand. I only got a latte here, but I’m interested in seeing which of their pastries are gluten-free.

This place is a vibe. I'm a sucker for a place with a good aesthetic. It is beautifully decorated and the drinks are pretty tasty. I had the chai and the other person I was with had the pistachio latte. They are one of the few places that still has comfy seating areas. They had delicious looking pastries and desserts but I haven't tried them yet. I recommend checking them out.

Had a meeting with friends. With patience we were able to snag the back alcove with comfy semi privacy and reduced noise. Did not try food, ordered a small coffee pot, which served 3 of us. Pot tayed warm over small candle. Was fun! Would highly recommend for fun meet-up or planning session. Even starting at table, while waiting for back couch area to ope, worked well. Staff is friendly, atmosphere not rushed. Did not try food, but won't post unless I include rating, so this rating is coffee's only. Had an Amercano with cream previously which was flavorful. Liked the flavored coffee brewed with cream even better. Will be back.

Just moved in a block away and feel SO blessed that Delah is my neighborhood coffee house. 🫶 The shop is beautiful, has a BOMB(!!!) cakes & sweets case, and both times I’ve gone in everyone was so kind — and also helpful in picking out a delish treat. 🍰
